We took a hike down into the canyon, and saw some pretty keen stuff. This is a particularly famous hoodoo called Thor's Hammer. Bryce Canyon is a very nifty little park, famous for its weird geology, which takes the form of rock spires called "hoodoos." We zipped around the park (it's pretty small) and then, because entry was free! at every National Park, drove lickety-split over to Zion National Park, and saw that the same day!
